It also features a dual cast control system that utilizes both an external click-dial magnetic brake, plus four individually disk mounted internal centrifugal brakes, allowing anglers to make finite adjustments for superior casting distance. A premium 10 bearing system with nine stainless steel double shielded bearings and one zero reverse one way clutch bearing provides buttery smooth casting and reeling as well. To stop hard charging fish, the Lews KVD LFS Casting Reel is outfitted with a rugged carbon fiber drag system that provides 20lbs of stopping power. An anodized bowed aluminum 95mm reel handle with Combat Grip paddle knobs also give anglers additional power to crank big fish to the boat.
